‘tap root’ explores journeys and mutations of the unconscious and the conscious. It is impelled by the idea that the opening of a tap, a flow, engenders numerous journeys both within and outside and plays with visibilities and erasures that construct/re-construct a journey for us—holding at its centre recurring notions of multiplicity and symbiotic existence with other life that much of my art engages in, embodied in images of water, boats, fish and and flowers. Finally, it is play.
